Originally from Egypt, Salma is now a professional fine artist based in Indianapolis. Her preferred medium is acrylic on canvas, but she also incorporates gold and silver leaf and other elements and materials in her work. Virtually all her pieces consist of many layers and take weeks, if not months, to create. They continue to fascinate for many years as their owners discover different colors, shapes and hidden elements in different light.

Calligraphy works are only done on commission and, by client request, often not shown on the website.
